Outdoor daytime events vs. nighttime indoor events: opinions?

I went to Eclipse this year in Quebec, which was my first outdoor event. It was also my first event which carried long into the following morning/day.
I was sceptical as to whether I would like the vibe in the morning, thinking everyone would be tired from dancing/chatting it up the previous night. I was plesantly surprised as I got my groove on when the sun came up (which is an event in itself) that people seemed to get into the event/DJs/vibe even more in the morning.
I am now a HUGE fan of the awesome energy of listening to an outdoor set with other fans of the genre of choice vs. the darkness and sketch (in some cases) of indoor nighttime sets.
Anyone else have an epiphany - if you will - by attending a nighttime-into-daytime (or full daytime) outdoor event after attending only nighttime indoor events for a long period of time? |

| Dancing with the warmth of sun on my back and a well-tuned system pumping tunes into my ears is a mighty experience. |

Both type of events have their own advantages.
As long as the tunes are good, all other things are just... extra |

| Outdoor events usually have other perks like, camping, unrestricted drug use, your own booze, etc etc. But in general, dancing outside beats dancing inside. |

| Ginos also prefer inside events because they can corner their prey. As such, there are none of them at outside events. |

i think the lighting is what makes the party.
daytime without lighting blows unless there is some other gimmick to make it good; ie. boat cruise. |

| I can't stand the cigarette smoke at outdoor events. I don't wanna be dancing in somebody else's cancer fumes. Indoor plz; outdoor iff there are designated smoking areas that I don't have to dance in. |
