One of the first tricks I saw them do, when I was young. Thought it was cool.

As for criss angel, I think he spells his name dumb. He dresses like a tool, and dumped his wife. Adds up to be a losr.
Most of his stuff is all camera tricks, see: http://www.youtube.com/user/Magici4s

i'm not to fond of Derren Brown, his talents are more like inner power that many poeple can do and i think he just went public with it. I like the magicians who use science and wizardry like in the prestige and do real magic. Copperfield is more like seigfred and roy or however thats spelled, very cheesy with the black curtain nonsense.

I grew up admiring the likes of Copperfield probably because of the strong element of showmanship used as well as the magic itself and I was easily pleased then, but other than that, nothing wrong with good ol' traditional magic, sleight of hand and the like.
I agree with what you've said about Derren Brown; his methods are more common and approachable. He even released a book on how he does some of his work and explains techniques that can be used by anyone. I'm still tempted to give it a bash though, I still find the whole area really interesting.
MrJiveBoJingles: LMAO I was thinking about those vids the other day. Hilarious! :stongue:

imo, i think most magicians are afraid to make the claims of telepathy or having supernatural power. Back then it was much better, no one questioned them and you just payed what you saw.
