| what pissed me off the most about beatport is the stupid "territory restriction" on some tracks. some really great tracks are "territory restricted" which means i can't buy them and i want them goddamnit! anyone know a way around this? i've tried ip anonymizers and proxies and it still doesnt work.....:whip: |

proxies :) |
yeah, i've tried that before too. it's a bit of a pain in the ass though, since you have to find a proxy that's not anonymous and that can have a fast enough bandwith coming from another country. most of the ones i've found are located somewhere in asia or africa, so if you have had any luck with this, definitely PM me... i'd appreciate it ;) |

| Get a cheap shell on a Euro server (or like Medina said, make a friend who has a *nix box) and use that shell when purchasing your tunes. :) |

what is a shell and what is a nix box? lol....i have relatives in europe but none of them are musically inclined and either way it would be a real hassle paying and downloading back and forth. i've tried proxy programs that make your ip anonymous, but it still didnt work. anyone had any luck with proxies? |

Or you can try emailing Beatport. I heard they will sell you the track if you email them.

Ok, scrap that option...it's a little technically advanced. Involves linux/unix knowledge and is honestly more of a hassle than other methods that people have mentioned. ;P |
