Dr Trance, Fuzion and The BBC at Element May 5

As you may have heard, BBC TV will be in Toronto and Montreal doing a feature on the electronic dance music scene in Canada.
For some reason, they've decided to do a profile on me (wide angle lens and all). As part of that profile, they want to film me playing, but as it turns out, I'm out of town that weekend and the only night I'll be here is Sunday (that's right-I won't be at the High Wire
"5 Alive" party due to a double booking that night), and there are no trance nights in Toronto on Sundays.
So we're going to create one for that night.
Fuzion, myself and one other dj (tba) will hit the decks from 8pm-2am on Sunday, May 5 at Element, 553 Queen St. W. between Spadina and Adelaide.
Admission is $5 (just to cover costs) and it will be licensed (19+).
If you're there, you'll be representing the Toronto trance scene for BBC TV-so let's represent, ppl!!!

Well I think it is extremely important that a lot of us TA's show up that night, just to support the trance scene. I think it's the lack of support that is needed in situations like this. SO LET'S GO. Let's keep this thread going, because so far I am the only one who has posted to it... and that is not a good thing!

too bad you don't spin much trance trax...(am i wrong when i say this?) ...i think that you are forced to play more hard trance cuz of the ravers....they're not TOO much into trancy tunes eh?
all those ascension parties on the boats were definitely a nice memory

sounds like a cool party, too bad it ends that early!
how about we (and I mean all the TA's!) hit up this party and than go chill at someones house and have a private party of our own! maybe we can drag the BBC crew with us to this private party and show them what the scene in TO is all about?
is there anything else going on that night? |

Well its good for the majority of us who have to go to work early on monday morning;)
Definately will hit this party to support the local scene. I also like Fuzion and D.T.
COme out and support people.. the simpsons arent funny anymore anyways. |

| aww man....why does it have to be sunday!?!?! friday or saturday night would have been the best....your sets rule doc, and i would certinaly love to hear this one, but i can;t make the commute up and back and still have energy for work the next morning :) |

same here... and have to be up early monday morning as well... did you see the set times for the Dave Clarke jam?

| Hey, they were here last month doing the same for Hong Kong, the chicks were a bit full of from the BBC but they did cover a lot, hope they get the scene right when they broadcast it! |
