1st Visit to TO - what do you recommend checking out for FRI AUG 17th...and why??

It will be my first visit and I only have Friday night to check something out.
I've never been to the Guv and would like to check it out, but not too sure what the 'Red Carpet' event is, and I see many posts about the new MOD club.
btw, it does sadden me I'll be missing Cosmic Gate here at home during my trip :(
Any info is greatly appreciated |

Friday: Mod Club (Exposed)
Why?: Grand Opening of the new weekly at Mod. It's going to be hype.
Saturday: Guvernment
Why?: Because you would like to check it out. |

Depends what you're looking for...
This is London: Big club, great music, stuck up drinking crowd.
Footwork: Smaller club, Wicked music, semi-friendly party crowd.
Mod Club: New event! |

I wouldn't say TiL is a big club....it is a medium to small size club.
As for a Friday night destination....all mentioned have good music and bad crowds IMO.....but that is Toronto partying....unless you are with a group of friends the typical party crowd in Toronto is crap. |

I think it will be a very TiL type crowd....I could be wrong and I hope I am....but that seems to be more the norm around toronto nowadays. |
