speaking of diet sodas (which suck ass and taste nasty), who the invented fresca? cause a while back, all my friends and i drank when it came to soda was CITRA. the best soda this planet's ever known, grapefruit soda mother******. and randomly, they discontinued it. several years pass with my thirst for carbonated grapefruits unquenched, when my mom and sister start drink fresca. i just pass it off as another random soda, as i'm not a big fan of anything carbonated usually. however on one day, upon a close inspection of the can, i notice that this soda is...not lemon and lime...BUT ING GRAPEFRUIT, PRAISE THE LORD!
i immediately pop open the can, bask in its glory, take a huge swig, and i you not, spat it out all over the carpet. still shocked, i turned to the ingredients on the can. there, low on the list, lied aspertame, the bane of all good sweet things everywhere. normally, something with aspertame in it would be labeled diet, BUT NO, there is no regular fresca, just DIET ING FRESCA. except they don't tell you its a diet soda.
