It's like cross between a saw and a plucked guitar and it's in half their tracks. Does anybody know how exactly they create that noise!

Edit:

Sample - from JoC - Exactly and Eco - Light At The End (Lost World Remix)

Or maybe not even a saw. I don't even know how to describe it but it's so damn full and delicious

Try this, I managed to get close on my Virus. It should be possible on most synths.
Set Osc1 to sawtooth and Osc2 to pulse, adjust the pulsewidth so you get a narrow pulse. Mix the Oscs about 60/40%. Turn the cutoff down to almost zero. Set filter sustain to zero and filter decay to a low value. Raise filter env amount to a high value. The filter settings need to be tweaked alot to get that pluck sound. A short filter decay is important to get that guitar pluck sound.

that's right and for more of the guitar like sound you need to SLOWLY modulate the pwm with an LFO. it gives this special guitar vibe.
