I recently listened to a couple of oldskool sets when this track came across my mind:

A fast-paced track with a crazy melody...
What kind of genre is this exactly(the usual hardcore stuff sounds different)? Do you know similar tracks? |

| Hard Trance, check out anything played at Mayday 1994 - The Raving Society. The whole thing was pretty much that. |

mid 90s Happy Hardcore.
Hard Trance at the time was more out of Germany and featured slower beat, blistering acid and boisterous synths. Think Cocooma, Gary D, Legend B and the like. |

That sample doesn't have much of a happy hardcore vibe though. It's more like Curare - Schneller Pfeil, which is definitely German hard trance. |

| Def old Prodigy like Out Of Space, Voodoo People, Their Law, No Good (Start The Dance), Break & Enter, Fire, Everybody In The Place (155 And Rising), Charly (Trip Into Drum n' Bass Remix)...stuff like that. People may call them "Cheese" but I think the spirit of Rave music is in upbeat and energetic..not always so serious dance music. Just about having a good time, and the music should reflect that. |
