What you might ask? Believe it or not.....CROBAR! Yes, Crobar. I miss that ing club. I really do. Thinking back.....some of best nights I have had out in NYC have been at Crobar. Everything from the big dance floor, the mezzanine chill out couches, the tunnel going into the main room, the go-go dancers, those crazy ass lights that dropped down from the ceiling, the c02 cannons, the (for the most part) friendly staff.....miss it all. Since Crobar closed, NYC has been deprived of the SICK DJ talent that used to fill our weekend calenders. No other club in NY was booking better talent on a consistent basis. At no other club in NY (or America for that matter) could you see Sander K, Ferry Corsten, and Victor Calderone all in the same month. Yeah we all bitched about the venue from time to time.....but I really wish it was still here. It's god damn shame a bottle service club is taking over. Sanders residency there was bar-none the best party in NY at the time.......every time Ferry came it was like the old school trance crowd reunion.....and Victor Caderone was always a circus in Smurfville. I have a bunch of awesome pics/vids from Crobar that I'm going to post soon....just to lazy to do it now.:toothless

Oh yeah - and the fact that (Thanks to Bradley ROSE!) I never paid to get inside that club once....ok maybe ONCE.:p

word to big bird. nobody was touching those lineups (and as much the received wisdom praises the smaller parties and non-megastar djs at smaller venues, nyc needs a quality big room bringing in the top names weekly).

I had fun at the Sasha Fundacion nights there. It was a cool place in 05 and 06 for me.

Wasn't there thread about where Crobar use to be opening with a new name and also more room with a better sound system. Is it really gonna be a VIP Bottle service club. It sucks that that I never checked it out. Who runs will be probaly make it to be a better place

I personally never had a problem with crobar, Carl Cox st. pattys day a few years back was one of the most (un)memorable nights clubbing i've had.
