Girls will befriend guys mainly for the companionship and attention. Nothing like warming up to a guy dumb enough to let you bear your soul to him, keep your secrets, have a shoulder to cry on and all that other sentimental a normal boyfriend should do but without the hot sex or ever having to put out. Total win for the girl, and not really anything beneficial to gain for the guy. And it's a total win win situation for the girl if she's going out with a guy who's a total but good in bed, and is best friend's with another guy whom she trusts, and gives her the impression that he actually listens and understands her, even if he truly doesn't. Impressions are what matters anyways.
And any straight guy who's too close to a girl just wants to do her up teh pooper. TROOF.
