I had to reply to this as I seem to run into this a lot myself. :D I have a lot of guy friends...for the mostpart, I just find guys easier to hang out with, less drama and more laughs...but have a few close really cool girl friends...maybe it's caused by being stabbed in the back too many times...anyways...I can really see what you're saying here.
I "had" a really cool guy friend...or so I thought....turns out, he finally said to me, that he wouldn't hang out with me anymore unless I hooked up with him...I didn't want to from the getgo, I just thought he was a cool guy to hang out with, so, I never hung out with him again and def. thought he was an ass for saying what he did...then, I hear, when someone asked him about what he said he told them, "well, I hung out with her enough times, what do you expect me to say"....meanwhile all that time I thought we were just really cool friends. nope. it was all a setup. now, I am desgusted by him.
on the other hand, I have a lot of really cool guy friends who I honestly consider just that, friends. they are cool, fun, easy to talk to, etc... and I don't want to hook up with them. so hopefully not all guys are like this one friend I mentioned and actually can have a fun friendship, even without benefits! who knows! I'd like to think that's the case anyway! :D |

well, i'm friends with clovis only b/c i want to sleep with him but alas, he will not give in to my cunning ways ;)
although he did accidently grab my boob saturday night. that's what happens when a drunk clovis tries to put his arm around you to hug you :D

ill keep this short and simple. girls have a great power by saying 4 words whenever necessary that works great on guys "let's just be friends". use it and abuse it when necessary.

HAHA, I'm sure people have been suspicious about it!
But just to make it clear, I don't think the guy likes me as more than friends... i just think OTHER people assume we're ing, simply because they see that we talk or hang out.
I should include this on that petpeeve thread: people who assume two people are ing, if they are friends of the opposite sex. |

This reminds me of something that happened to me a few weeks ago at some bar. This really drunk sleaze bag came up to me and tried to dance with me and said something like "Come dance with me". The way he approached me was such a turn off and annoying, so I just said "no thanks", turned around, and kept talking to my gf.
When he realized I just gave him the cold shoulder, he said something like "What, you think I actually wanted to talk to you?", or some like that. How pathetic can one be???? LOL
Perhaps if he wasn't a drunken sleaze bag, I would have been nicer to him.
Anyway, off topic. :)
Just wanted to make it clear that if you see me hanging out with a guy, please DO NOT assume I'm ing him. If you see me making out with him, then you have a reason to think so. |

So en true. I couldn't agree with you more. I have MANY girlfriends who talk to me and tell me all their drama with their boyfriends. But at the end, we're just friends WITH NO BENEFITS. They just trust me a lot, and they know I'm a shoulder they can lean on.

| i dont make many long term friendships with women unless im attracted to them and wanna pull hair slap spit on slit, say that fast 3 times :tongue3. so most guys probably would look at a guy and a girl who are friends and assume they are ing because the avg guy makes friends with girls they want to , the only exceptions would probably workplace and school you scratch my back i scratch yours friendships to get tasks done, yet still with the hope that teamwork will lead to sex. |
