it doesn't matter if they are producers or not....I don't see what that has to do with the fact that the people who listen to the music have made it about the person spinning the music and not the music itself....we all do it or have done it....we all favour certain DJs....and not just because of the music they spin but because of something else...whether because they are the IN DJ or because of some gimmick they have. |

LOL
This is getting pretty retarded. TA is a public message board, and everyone is entitled to whatever they feel like posting (within the moderator's restrictions). Joel (Deadmau5) was new to the boards, got 'thread happy' - and a few people (myself included) simply voiced our opinion that weekly threads to remind us of his success really isn't necessary.
Why someone needs to come in here to defend a guy like Joel completely baffles me. He's blowing up all over the world, has like 6 tracks in the top 100 of the biggest EDM mp3 site globally, and has ing Tiesto playing his . I have a good feeling he could give a flying whether or not people approve of his posting etiquette. LOL
Anyways, like I said in the first out of hand Deadmau5 thread - I love what this guy is doing... not only on a personal level of, but for representing Toronto as a true contender on the production front. People are going to continue to bitch, but it ain't about jealousy - I think it's safe to say everyone here is happy for his great success. |
