Actually yeah, now THAT is a hazard - I've almost fell numerous times because of stepping on a bottle when I wasn't expecting it.

That is my pet peeve. I can tolerate most anything else I encounter wherever I go out.

Kudos to everyone who has the decency to disgard of their empty beverage container in a safe fashion.

***I heard some kid slipped on an empty bottle in Guv's mainroom just before their renovations and was compencated by managment for not taking them to court ??? True story or phony balony ????

b) vomit
and c) something worse than the above 2 choices

i think its worth a little water spillage so you dont ruin your shoes in whatever coats the floors at Guv

Just for the sake of arguement, if something sticky is on the floor it's fairly dry. If you pour water on it, the re-hydrated vomit or whatever is now splashing around onto your shoes/legs, no?

That's not to say sticky floors aren't distracting/gross. Gum on the floor is gross X 5.

Bottles on the floor are a nightmare, especially if you're glowing a bit.

I would never spill my own water on the floor when dancing. :)

Long live the waterspillers.

Coming from the King himself. I used to back in the day. I liked a nice slippery floor for my fancy feet. But now I prefer a nice solid traction for the action.
Cro_Addict
I do occasionally.

Its much more fun/easier to dance with slippery floor :gsmile:

ha...no kidding.

my favourite is the compromise:

too lazy to walk over to a garbage/recycle bin...yet conscious of the fact that it's ty to just drop it in the middle of the dancefloor.

so...they walk close to the edge of the dancefloor and just chuck it somewhere off in the bar area or aisle.

(ok, in my drunken, younger days...I did that a few times myself, lol)

I think the more important question is who spills beer on the floor. I don't care whether it's accidental or not, they should be taken out and shot.

I've been known to get a little smashed and end up a bit spilly with my liquor, but no intentional spillage with any sort of liquid/beverage.
Cribby
Never. I'm really clumsy when the floor is wet. I've taken wipeouts at 99 Sudbury, Comfort Zone, and regrettably TIL because of this! Grr. Thankfully embarrassment suits my character.
