Im in Houston and its pretty ugly out there in the roadways. Its getting real flooded. Houstons is the biggest when it comes to rain, it floods quicker than a bitch. Freeways are a mess all around houston. Good thing they stoled my car not to long ago, or else id probably be out there myself.
wait wtf. :(
flooded in car > no car

well, take solace in knowing that the guy who stole it is flooded in right now.
even better solution: he floods the car, can't call for help, leaves car. cops find it abandoned.

i'm in Austin. my office has a window. oh my god! so i've been looking outside while working all day today. it's been cloudy and drizzling off and on. not much.
and having a car is good during this time is good, because it'll get damaged, then if you have insurance, you can claim it got damaged by the storm. you get a big fat check in the mail. well that depends on certain circumstances of course ....... :o :)

my dad's car got flooded in 95 or 96.
They took it to the dealership, and he went back a week later to check on it, and opened the door, only to have water spill out. They hadn't even drained it yet.
It was about a year or two old, but the insurance company gave him a check for the full value and didn't touch the rates. Another point for Allstate.

I just thought of an awesome feature for google maps to add.
On the map part, there should be a tool that allows you to click one point, then click another, and have it give you both the distance & the driving distance between the two. How awesome would that be?
