Anyone been there? I got home from a 6-day excursion in Prague 4 hours ago and I'm absolutely amazed by that beautiful city. :) It's huge, it has a metro, it has a load of all kinds of stores and the sights are down to ground beautiful. I'm out out of myself because I come from a town with roughly 115000 residents, which is 11 times less than Prague so you see why's the reaction like that. :) Discuss. :p

I dunno, Mitt Romney pays you to vote in Iowa, it can't be all THAT bad.

Spent a week and a half there during my January of '06.

Freezing (due to really bad weather) but the place looks like it's out of a fairy tale. People are awesome (from all over Europe and Asia). Drinks are SUPERB.

Highly recommended. I'm sure it'd be mega packed during the summer.

Was there '02 for 10 days with my school class and got drunk of my every day. Started drinking 12ish and stopped when we fell over somewhere. I think they hated us. It was awesome though. And cheap!

i was there a weekend in the summer of 01..

i remember falling asleep in the tram/street car thing and the conductor wakign me up when we were at the end of the line like on teh skirts of prague... he spoka no englais and i spoka no czech... and my awakening wasnt exactly "ah, good morning old chap, how are you?" it was "what the fuahhh..doh. my head hurts... where is my wallet... wehre are we.... uuuhhh.. i mean where am i??" :D

some of my most amazing memories are from prague... and that was only for 2 days... from a 14hr train ride to and fro from Utrecht, Netherlands when i went to school there back then...
