Looking for inspiration. Seems like there should have been a thread like this already, but after a bunch of searching I couldn't find one. If there is, link me to it instead. :) It's hard to search for "house" parties when house is a type of music mentioned on this site daily. I used terms like "home" and found nothing.
Just looking for pictures or videos from raves/parties that you have thrown in your own home, rather than in a club/warehouse/forest/etc. And any interesting personal anecdotes for good measure. :)
I'm throwing one next month, and I have a raised landing on my stairs which goes out into my living/great room and a cathedral ceiling, which lends itself to being used as a DJ booth (albeit, a small one).
Here's the basic idea that I'll be going with (it's just a mockup, obviously it will be much more decorated and have much more lighting, etc., the furniture will not be in the way, and so on.)

He seems to like making threads about his house...

You should get a little massage booth set up somewhere in the corner of the house. Scented candles, coconut oil, the works. And I know some people don't like it, but it be cool setting up a strobe light next to the decks where you can turn on and off for a few minutes.
