All right people, did anyone actually get around to check this party out? Because if you didn't, you've missed out on some short but wicked stuff...
I am just too tired to type right now, so I will just say that I've missed Oakie's set, but got in right on time for Chemical Bros., and those 2 hours (maybe less) were the best en 2 hours I've had in a while!
These guys are nuts, wicked, demented, and twisted! All in a good way... plus all the visuals they've had, wow... I've never seen anything like that in my life! And the crowd was great too (all ages, but still good!), so all in all, an amazing experience...
I know that Dr. Trance was there last nite (tried to sell him a ticket :D:D). Props go out to Dr. Trance! |

Nah, I got in for free... and from what I've heard, Oakie wasn't even as half as good as Chemical Bros. |

holy whatta party! first of all, oakie kicked ass... he started out soft just cuz the opennin dj played for only like 20 min, but later on in his set, he drove it hard!! the last few tracks he played were william orbit-barbers adagio (ferry mix) and mauro picotto - lizard!! if that doesnt tell you the type of set he had, well then... anyway, excellent set from oakie!! he really got the place pumped!!
ok now onto chem bros, like fantom said, they created an amazing show and brought the whole place down!!
overall i'd say the night was 10/10... no complaints at all! oh yea, and look out for the concert on the tv as the whole show was being taped |

All the people in the stands were up on their feet dancing their asses off!
Anyway, TranceGeek, do you have any idea when is this thing gonna be shown on TV? If you hear anything, let me know... I wanna tape it, cuz it was some crazy hype stuff! |

| on the entrance doors there was a sign that said the event was being taped by "virgin entertainment" something... if i see/hear anything, i'll let u know... i dunno anything right now though :/ |

amazing party, i loved oakies set.. but the brothers blew his away even though i enjoyed oakie more. great night, lots of energy, too bad it didn't go longer. |

i saw something on much music last night, it was a short interview with chem bros and they showed a bit of the concert too... the whole thing lasted no more than 20 min? it might be on again, look out for it, i think it was part of "the new music" show...

Well i just thought to bring this back,cause it was such an awsome show!
Oakenfold was very smooth, great change of pace through the set. I did go to see oakie, cause it was my first time, and i am a huge fan!!! But the chemical bros were too much. Amazing visuals with complete control of the music.
I remember them actually walking off stage at one point while the effect did its thing. Came back on and killed it!
About that video, does anybody know anything about it now? Cause they taped the whole thing, so i dont think they used it just for the 20min clip on Much Music.
any info would be great, crazy party! |

| I went to this. Oakie sucked IMO but the Chem Bros ripped up. I've been listening to these guys for a while. |
