Thought the night was alright. I think I got a bit too hyped up from fridays reviews. Track selection was good , loved hearing out there and back !! Maybe it was me but I didnt feel he played as hard as Crobar closing.
September event iffy. First time I'd consider missing since Twilo days.

Gee there are a lot of DJ's and Producers on this thread; so... damn... who do they think they are! lol :clown:
It's just rediculous that people would learn more about dance music and music in general beyond "this rocks" and "this sucks". Shame on us all!
I dont know if Paul met these terms. What do you think? :PVD features an overwhelming feeling of percussive, like the synthetic sounds, studio effects used as principal instrumentation, and, usually, a regular, 4/4 beat usually with a tempo of 130–140, sometimes faster, but rarely slower. Some PVD compositions have strong melodies and bass lines, but these features are not as essential to PVD as they are to other dance genres, and it is not uncommon for PVD compositions to deemphasize or omit them. PVD is also very DJ-friendly, being mainly instrumental, and produced with the intention of being incorporated into continuous DJ sets wherein different compositions are played with very long, synchronized segues. Although several other dance music genres can be described in such terms, techno has a distinct sound that aficionados can pick out very easily.

I think that what ColorDancer said went over your head (or you simply fully misunderstood).
Or maybe you just felt like making random commentary on PvD.

Okay I seemed to have forgotten this part until I saw the pics above , which btw are awesome.
I dont know who the security staff was on hand but for some reason my buddy caught beef for his CAMERA (Canon Digital Rebel). the exchange went something like:
The security person pulls him aside and told him he could not use his camera.
He asks why and is told that his camera is a "Pro Camera " and they are not allowing that. To which he replies , Anyone can go into Best Buy and pick one up then agrees to not use the camera anymore .
The security guy then demands his SD card .
My buddy refuses and says they let him in with it and should'nt pose a problem since he put it away.
The security guy then asks why my buddy is stepping to him. (the whole time his feet have not moved, nor mine as I was waiting in beer line)
The security guys tells him to put it away and walks off.
Whats with the security guys jacking up the guy who paid $60 to get in and went through a security check already?
Anyone Else catch beef for their camera?

I caught beef from the security guy at the line before going in cuz i brought a DV and he told me no filming and i told him listen i don't have the tape im just taking pictures with it. He then told me to go check it in with some other guy which i didnt know where he was pointing me to. so i was like ok ok and just went inside and safed me the trouble.

It's amazing how some of you disect these shows like a freaking chemistry experiment. Why cant you just have a good time and enjoy the music. Insted you sit there on the bleachers and try to find anything that goes wrong with the show to write about on here. "Oh I thought the sound level was off, I think the colors were too bright, I hate the vocals, time of our lives sucks, he should of playes more groovy beats" Shut up already! Don't go anymore if you dont like it. It seems like these DJ's have to pass a test with all of you when they put on a show.
