Briefly skimming over this review thread. I learned that John Creamer is actually one-half of the robots for Daft Punk. How dare all those cocky mofos play pre-recorded music on our hard earned money???:D

Just talked to habibi Katy and she said she had an ABSOLUTELY PURE PURE blast at both the Next Level and at the other afterparty! :D

Tunes were beyond incredible I'm told by her. She loved Creamer's set. So good to hear... I know how much she was looking forward to this party. :)

Alright, don't mean to piss anyone off, but here is the link to his set that he played last night, it's from a boat cruise in June in NYC

It's abolutely identical!!!
It was pre-recorded as Willy Wonka said...So bummed out about this :(

LOL

It was not pre-recorded.

I was in the booth for like half of his set, and he was definitely hand selecting tracks from his book of cd's - and using three cd-j's in the process. He may have played very close to the same tracks, even in the same order - but he most definitely did not play a pre-recorded set.

LOL Ok I believe you, but make sure to listen to the set though!

John Creamer. What he did was one of the most disrespectful, insulting things any DJ could have ever done. I counted him leave the decks at LEAST 5 times (and he definitely left more times than that) to go for a smoke break, pour drinks, or do whatever the else he was doing.

yesh...I felt that was un-deejay like as well.

I can't believe Creamer didn't even play live (or did he?), since I have an exact mix of this set from a boat cruise from NYC. It was identical, but the end of the night was amazing!

I noticed this too actually! I don't think it was prerecorded, but he did play almost exactly the same set. I'm not impressed...and the fact that he kept leaving the booth just shows how much effort he put into it
