| How big of a queue do coach-users have to wait at the gates to enter? Same as everyone else? |

e_b - good advice on asking for price (at pubs and such) before i buy, i wouldnt have done that if you didnt say
mdma - i took down your cell phone number and ill be sure and give you a call, and dont worry i wont wake you up at some ungodly hour :p btw what's your real name?
anyways i kinda looked at some stuff on the internet. Me and Bengi will meet up in central london probably at a youth hostile (City of London, Earl's Court, St Pancras or any other ones in the area) so that we can put away our backpacks. i found out all i have to do from heathrow is take the Piccadilly line for about an hour to get to central london and for bengi he just takes a train and one of the tube lines. shouldnt be that bad. Im not into all the musems and stuff, i do wanna hit Dungeons of London and maybe a few other districts... ahh we'll see i usually dont plan much of that till im actually there. |
Ok, everyone, my real name is Lam.
Your journeys into london shouldn't be too bad after all! You might have to change tube lines tho, cos I don't think the Picadilley line goes to Heathrow. To my knowledge, I think it is the Distric tline that goes to Heathrow, and you take that into somewhere near Kensington, and then u can change onto the Picadilley Line. If u need ne help deciphering tube maps, just ask.
Good stuff in London, is the London Dungeon, The Tower of London (where our crown jewels are kept), All the shopping districts (Picadilly Circus, Oxford Circus), Leicester Square, If u like the orient, vist Chinatown.
Stuff isn't really that expensive, it all depends on how much cash u have in the first place! :p
Any more questions, just ask! :) |

Look at it this way jon, you get twice the workout... one from dancing and one from sprinting from tent to tent :toocool:
And thanx DuMondeTrancer, for the coach info. Looks like it'll be a coach for me then... do you have to book way ahead? Seeing that I'm in Canada it might be a little trouble doing so... |

welll for the coaches you can book the ticks over the phone and ask them if you can just take ur invoice along, thats i do sumtimes if i book my candywax ticket a bit late. as for the actual tickets, im not sure, do you have any idea of where your stayin in egland, that way you could ring them up and ask them to send them to the adress on a specific date or something? oh wait, you can pick them up at the actual event if you book n pay for them in advance :) |

PSi I'm definitely coming to this one. Haven't any idea how I'm getting there. Train is too expensive, so probably a coach then a bus. I'll also be going to Promise on the 5th July to see M.I.K.E., you going to that one?
Izzy, check out the "London Eye" in London. It is a huge ferris wheel basically. I've never been on it but apparently it gives you an excellent view of London's skyline, so you should be able to get some great photos. If you like history, espescially World War 1 and 2, check out the Imperial War Museum. I went there last year, there is so much to see you will need a full day to take it all in and get your money's worth.
Here are some links for sights etc in London:
