Nissam's set at BeB was too diva-ish, imo. Not once did I look up at the decks to witness the frenetic hand waving and stuff, I'm just going strictly by the beats.

He didn't show for Pride, so they rebooked him September. Those who had already bought pre-sale tickets were offered a refund or the option to use them for the next event.
Offer Nissim's success isn't built on being a great DJ. He's a god-awful DJ. That notwithstanding, he's got a popular signature sound and occasionally does devastating diva-vocal remixes. His music's always very upbeat, very happy and bouncy, and gay as a tangerine. He's successful and frequently rebooked for the same reason Bourne Ultimatum was successful--you know exactly what you're getting, and if you like that kind of thing, it's really good for what it is. |
