hey peeps! just sent a mass going away email/invitation but since i dont have many of your emails, i wanted to share this info on TA as well, cuz i want you guys at my party!!! :D :crazy: :crazy: :tongue2

Last week, for the first time ever, I bought a one-way ticket... And I'm leaving (♪♫ on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again ♫ ) on Wednesday, September 5th, (from JFK, just in case you wanted to come and wave the plane off!) for Berlin for about 3 weeks, then hopping on down to Milan and start my job teaching English as a Second Language at the Carlo Dell'Acqua high school in Legnano!
As I'm sure you've all assumed, (and rightfully so!), I'll be taking advantage of my Italian passport and doing my fair share of traveling during and after my stay in Italy. Who knows where I'll end up! (Budapest? Birmingham? Basel? Berlin? Bucharest? Barcelona? Bari? ugh no, not Bari..) So, in case you'd like to participate in the ongoing (and seemingly never ending), competitive, OTB game of "Where In The Friggin' World is Daniela Busciglio?"™, I've created a blog while I was working down in the lovely state of Florida this summer (my favorite state...*grimace*) and will certainly be writing tons about and posting lots of photos from my merry misadventures while making like a vagabond across the pond...Here it is: Going On A Guilt Trip. hrhr :toothless
And if you're in the NYC metro area on Saturday, September 1st, and would like to place a bet for the upcoming October Edition of WTFDB™, please join me, your hostess, for a Farewell Party @ KeyBar in the East Village, on 13th between A & B. It's my favorite bar, an adequate setting for a game show, and we even have our own entertainment, as the one and only Ori will be djing all night... :)

P.S.: As of September 6th, my cell phone will be shut off indefinitely (actually, suspended is a more adequate term) but I will have German and Italian cell phone numbers that I shall pass along once I get settled overseas. Ex-pats, ahoy! |
