Well here's the thing, you have done nothing to convince me that you have, yet you're sitting here arguing that everything in the post was hypocritical and .
This is nothing new from you Walker, you have a very strong tendency to argue yourself into a corner and then stubbornly dig in your heels as other people who have actually done their homework educate you.
So right now, anyone who has indeed read Epicurus' post is really still waiting for you to make any kind of relevant counterargument, instead of giving a quick, inaccurate, and condescending synopsis of his post and claiming that it's nothing more than "bull."
Though, I will say that just how quickly you get riled up and start throwing out the insults in situations like this is amusing. Do you really think anyone takes you at all seriously when you act like this?

his argument was that that Iraq isnt bad and specifically burning children isnt part of any local culture because culture is defined differently than regional...however, they are writing a consitution and hopefully that fixes all teh ed up stuff they do... which would be a red flag in my mind. Then he proceeds to say in the classic argument style "Well the west is bad too" as if that invalidates it.
Its pretty ed to say that iraq like Africa has no control over the men and way too much control over women and children. Its pretty ridiculous to think that I actually think child burning is a practice. I never mentioned that. I was saying that a culture that allows men to run wild and punish the out of everyone without themselves being punished is a bad system. I said women need more rights as do the children because its a sink of human rights deprivations.
I dont know why you guys think thats so outlandish other than you are wildly in the mindset of "oh its Orbax, he must be saying something inflammatory". Ive repeated myself quite enough here already and the paragraph #2 is something I already wrote about earlier in this thread . It was my point , there was agreement, then epicurus the local PDD who thinks because they click on a political html link on the internet they are suddenly Colin Powell.
I dont think his is as wonderful as you guys do. Go ahead and like it, but dont claim i didnt read anything when its pretty clear you didnt read anything I posted either ;)
also, rob, dont say its funny and no one takes you seriously when you insult people. You do that all the time and the same bull. You pretend you are above it all and point out the stink from your ivory tower when youre just some dude in Wisconsin. Get over yourself |

I don't see how calling a thread 'Man Iraq is awesome', when the thread is about a child being burnt alive, is in great taste. Even though you were being sarcastic..
And to claim that this is a part of Iraqi culture only goes to show that you know bugger all about it.
And before posting a picture of someone else and taking the piss out of it, I suggest you take your own face for a e...
I think I can safely say this is all true in regards to what you have posted in this thread. |
