I would like to thank all the OC promoters who talked so much about Giant and Club Vegas this last week and even sent out myspace bulletins saying we were going out of business. All it proved is we are justified in bringing Orange County something worth while and thank God the party people know better.
Great seeing you Bernice and its nice to have met some new cool TA peeps as well. |

Last night was my first time at the new Giant Thursday at Club Vegas. I think this is a much better fit for Giant than Ten. The vibe there was incredible - very rare for Orange County. The place was packed (but not too packed). Here are some of my thoughts:
- Boris, once again, did an amazing job with his opening set. I love the way he builds the energy throughout.
- Dave Dresden was off his rocker when they first got on stage, dude looked like he was rolling his off. At one point Josh had to reach over and move his hand. We were right there in front cracking up... Josh looked up, smiled, and shook his head.
- I saw some posts about the AC issue being fixed. It sure as hell didn't seem like it was to me. It was a sweat shop in there, everyone was sweating their ass off.
- G&D's set was pretty uneventful musically. Same songs they've spun the last 2+ years. Tracking Treasure Down, Enemy, even that Sting remix.
Overall, the positive vibe made for a very fun night. I will be coming back for more. Can't wait for MP next week!! |

The A/C was working fine until too many people started drinking! :whip:
I guess it was a good night, 2 people in our group puked after they got home. :wtf: |
