* I heard that Earth has been through 4 major extinctions, which we can see by looking at past stellar events. These 4 include ones like the current (us), The last one (The dinosaurs) and 2 mysterious previous ones. *What if* the 2 previous mystery extinctions were made up of completely different lifeforms, maybe beings more advanced in technology than we currently are, but they got wiped out by a supernova, and all evidence of their existence was vaporised (literally, that is why there is no fossil evidence, the life on earth must have experienced a quick, violent extermination, which vaporised the surface of the earth.
|
The first two extinctions exterminated some of the primitive lifeforms, like trilobites and many mollusks. There was no advanced life back then.

I have even more admiration for him now that I found this out!

Actually, miniature black holes do pop in and out of existance every once in a while.
And about the glass, it is technically a liquid because it lacks any crystalline structure.
Someone also mentioned that water's heavier when it's hot. That's only partially correct. The maximum density of water is achieved at 4 degrees celsius. |

Most of the clocks in Pulp Fiction are set to 4:20 (but not all -- when the kid receives the watch it's set at 9:00). And there are many other instances, so keep your eyes peeled.

William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes, whom are both considered the most important exponents of literature in their respective languages (English and Spanish) where so contemporary that they even died the same date (April 23, 1616).
PS: Garcilaso de la Vega (El Inca) also died that date. He was one of the first latinamerican borned literary expressions that found its space in Spain.
PS2 aka. another useless fact: they've died the same date, NOT day. Spain and England had different calendars (Gregorian in Spain and Julian in England). There was a 10 day difference by 1616. |
