20% sounds very nice! it's funny that you made this thread today. i was actually going to get in touch with you this week to ask about a suit. but ya, i'll definately get you a big discount off whatever cam or accessories you need.

canon digital ixus75 is the one i used for daft punk vids
sounds was great
some cameras i've used had a great video but the sound was horrible, they were quite expensive too..
also i'd recommend asking carey what camera he uses, he took some really nice vids with amazing audio on them
HD Video
Small(est) form factor
8 megapixels
Ubercamera
i don't know if that's the camera you used for wmc 2006 but i remember the sound on it was not the greatest, especially in dj vibe vid

it is very very very difficult to take videos at clubs with sound being any good. you pretty much have to plug the mic with your finger to prevent so much sound going into the camera.

it's not true, a lot of canon cameras have a very good sound

it looks like that video was taken from the side behind the tweeter speakers and not in front of the main speakers. i don't think it would be as clear if you were right in front with a song that has a lot of bass. it doesn't matter, just saying that point and shoot cameras won't give the best quality sound.
same section of concert. pretty much exactly the same.
also, the DJ Vibe video was not take with RJ's camera. that was kabelicious.

I currently use the 5.0 MP DSC-T1 (which was made in 2004). It is small (no bigger than a deck of cards), rugged and takes awesome fotos (unless I have a shaky hand).
The DSC-T200 is 6 generations beyond the one I currently have.
If/when it dies, I will replace my T1 with a T200.
