We haven't been there since Digweed was here last time in April, which is pretty long considering that we live within walking distance.

it was very electro and monotonous, it was very boring. the sound was excellent though.

In sum, the set went ing nowhere and I'm pissed that I skipped Lee, not that I expected Webster Hall to be better.

You guys sound surprised by this? :conf:

Sorry to here about your girl, Ryan....just another reason why I hate pacha with a passion. I freakin hate that place.

i disagree

i thought digweed absolutely tore that place apart. he's known for going off on crazy tangents then banging it out at the end. some of the stuff he dropped was nuts. i could barely ID one track that the man played. downside was the system sounded like ass, they definitely need to tweak it a whole lot more cuz it sounded like one big deep muddy mess. way too much emphasis on the low range which was muddying everything up. crowd wasnt the greatest either but that was expected and i dealt with it somewhat lol. my friend al was playing some dope in the basement but was hard to stay down there when i knew diggers was ripping it upstairs.

he played till 6:30 and his last track was gui boratto - a beautiful life. same track sander encored with at cielo back in june. only other track i could ID was c.o.m.a - coma.

I wasn't there, so I don't have an opinion on the night, but I can say that even the most brilliant set of all time can sound like when you & your girlfriend are getting harassed by a bunch of idiots.

Club nights are 50% dj 50% vibe, vibe coming from the crowd & venue, feeding off the dj. I'm sure the poor score of the evening was due to the vibe half, not the dj's.

first, ppl going to pacha need to expect the cracked out asian behind the DJ both. But it's very easy to avoid that. Diggers just wasn't any good. his set (from what i heard) was slow and boring with absolutely no direction.

This was barosoap's biggest bitch and I agreed. Usually, the sound is the worst over in K-Central (right side under the mezzanine, FOB gathering point)

There were a couple of other tracks that he played that I recognized in addition to the COMA track. One was a really ty remix of Underworld - Crocodile that was playing around 1 AM.

the sound was good upstairs. i don't venture much downstairs because of the heat, so my evaluation of the sound was based on being upstairs.

Webster hall was much better than expected. Sound was great with the phazon. Burridge was playing pounding tech house which was much harder than anything I heard lee play before. I really liked it though. The crowd was good too strangely enough. I left before Danny came on. I'm taking it easy this weekend. Heard Danny was good from friends though.

Great to see everybody out for this!!

We had a fantastic night -- we warmed up in the main room before Chloe and that place got filled up in a hurry. Everybody was really up for it too - great energy on the floor :)

We bounced down to the basement when we got off where Eddie Jones had the room moving. Chloe Harris was keeping it on the deep and groovy techy tip upstairs as the anticipation for Digweed went through the roof. Place went NUTS when John got on  We went down back to check out some of KYU's set in the basement which had a seriously fun vibe going on.

Playing downstairs was a blast...got to meet some new peeps and seeing all you smiling people having so much fun was a treat :) We couldn't make it a long night (had to catch an early flight to DC...oooofff) but I'm sure Deepspell rocked it out in the basement and Digweed closed it out proper.:eyespop:

We were up in the air with where to go as our legs were feeling like jello after Underworld rocked our worlds.

Digweed was the effen man on Friday. Pacha was full but there was still room to dance...perfect space. We got in around 2am and the fist pump was in full affect all night. Started with some very techy house....moved it to some very dark and dramatic progy stuff and then at about 430am he was hitting people over the head with bomb after bomb. I could only ID 2 or 3 tracks but that is why he is Digweed and I am not.

Track of the night: Speak Lord (I Get Deep) - Roland Clark ( no idea on the remix)

Well worth the 40 bucks to get in....my body is still in pain but after a night like that i could care less.

Can anyone give me a few track ID's from John's set????

holla!!!
