I would hardly say that a 3-2 win is "totally and utterly schooled". That header from Venegoor was bang on, and if it weren't from that mistake that allowed Messi to score the result might have been different.

the scoreline may give the illusion of a tight match, but barca were so far ahead of us it was unreal. The second half possession must have been about 80% barca.

It was a true lesson in football and I can't help feel the only reason they didn't hammer us by 4 or 5 was because they want a decent crowd in the nou camp for the return leg.

I only saw a 4 minute clip of the Arsenal-AC Milan game. If Arsenal runs circles around AC Milan again, they'll go through to the next round. Amazing how the Gunners didn't score a goal. AC Milan should go to the film room and watch the Tottenham-Arsenal game from this past December to see a good game plan that Tottenham manager Juande Ramos used to frustrate Arsenal.

As for Celtic - Barca, caught the highlights of this as well...wow...what a sucky way to give up the go ahead goal by Celtic. Celtic is screwed since the away goal rule really hurts them. I don't see them winning by 2 at Camp Nou.

I was disappointed that the usual footy bar here I go to here in NYC (Which was PACKED yesterday) had the Man U v. Lyon game in the downstairs, so I couldn't rotate my head from game to game like I normally do in the main area :tongue2

Celtic shoudn't have tried playing out of defence so much, in such tight situations. They didn't deserve to win, but could have if people such as Caldwell didn't have false allusions that they can play football (as in not just be a big central -hoof-it- defender). lol :p

Bad result for us. Schalke started the game well and scored straight ahead. We stabilized the game a little later on, had the upper hand during the second half and somehow Lisandro even missed a done goal, but the ball didn't went in.

It's not looking good but there's a chance to recover at home.

As bad results can be, that one ain't that bad... and I think Porto has (overall) a better team than Schalke. If on form.

Just saw the madrid game... it was very nice.,... roben needs to learn to pass the ball but had a good game. i felt we played better than roma and they still beat us... oh well :(

I'm an Arsenal fan.

I sighed in relief when I heard about the result against AC Milan.

Glad we didn't lose..

Arsenal are in a fragile state of mind going into Milan. They drew their last two games, don't have Eduardo and are still hit with injuries. However, maybe this game will we the Walcott's Italian breakout party. He's finally starting to emerge with his flashes of brilliance.

Man United should finish the job against Lyon, but it's not a gimmie. Lyon with their stud striker Bezema are never an easy side to deal with.

Celtic is done. I don't see them winning by 2 goals at Barca, plus 3 away goals by Barca really hurts.

Fenerbache v. Sevilla...I still don't know anyone who cares about this match :clown:
