It's a government funded artist center... Very cool venue close to rene leveque and st laurent... really cool warehouse like space, can get a bit hot if it gets crammed, but where doesn't.
Very cool spot though. |

It was Dorchester I drove to to get on the expressway to get back home from Crescent St.
I remember clearly when they renamed the street back then. Everyone in MTL was furious except the separatists (they broke the wait till 5 yrs after dying rule that existed at the time).
Any hotels at $100 or less in the downtown core? It's got to be stumbling distance from the Forum or whatever the new place is called... Bell centre, yeah... and crawling distance to clubs... so if it's on The Main and Dorchester, we'll cab it for a few bucks.
Buddy has his sights on Crescent, and my understanding is that that stip has changed since I spun there back in the days, so this is why I'm looking at this event, so I need to convince him. |
