Yeah but even then... The last time I was there I think was for Karen b-day & let me tell u the kids are giving the scene a really bad name.
They are not there for the music. Instead they are there for other mind altering experiences rather than expanding their minds on the music.

yeah .. Space's crowd is quite normal when you party elsewhere.
At least FL doesn't have the "wachine machine" [west coast thing]
Last time @ Space it was overly crowded but a bunch of the TA's and I headed upstairs to the loft where they had a huge screen tv showing PvD and you had room to sit and dance upstairs.
One of the reasons why it was such a great night.
Was that not available this time? Hip Hop was outside and the music in the patio didn't interfere at all with the loft. |

The loft was hip hop all night. Terrace was house... nice opener for Prydz. |

i popped into pvd for the last hour before heading upstairs. I liked it i thought it was nice to hear him play tunes that weren't at some ridiculously high bpm. looks like he even gets it. I hadnt seen him sicne 8/05 when he was there with max graham so it was nice to see him again. I can say this for the little bit i got to watch him up there, he was all over the keyboards and midi controllers, ableton was worked the man does some he aint just playing solitaire up there. he is so into what he does, that is good stuff.
Beautiful things was actually the song when i got there, i was surprised but the crowd loved it he was letting them all sing along (okay i sang too, lol) |

Dude, at some point from the mid to the end of his set was vocals. He was singing and the crowd too, I didnt know know if I was in a club or a celine dion concert!!!!!! |

I didn't get my hopes up for this and am glad I didn't. I wanted to stay longer to see if he would possibly bring the set back but it turned into the north pole in VIP where I was with Dream Beamz and company, so I chose to leave and go sleep in my car while playing some REAL PVD, circa the old days.
Yeah those days are gone but that's what "repeat" is for.
This night sucked more dick in the space of a few hours than Paris Hilton could ever hope to in an entire lifetime.
Nice seeing some of my favorite peeps; Eric, Ivan, Steve-O, Damon, Stan, Ben...forget who else...Hell, I even say MellyMel's tiny clone Vanessa out there.
Super special thanks to Dream Beamz for the VIP treatment. There's nothing like it...
....we could actually MOVE!
...although the VIP by 1am or so (maybe earlier) was actually SOLD OUT.
Dream Beamz, I def wanna see PVD in Atlanta.......
....so I can kick him square in the ass for the 4 most disappointing and stupidest sets I have ever heard in my years listening to him. |
