u can sleep in between all day and night on sat :) but it definitely would be a challenging weekend. one thing is for sure is that it will be an advanced weekend at stereo :)
Alex
I may have to bring my math homework to Digweed, think he knows his Logs and Polynomials?
UneeK
does anyone know when he starts his set?

I work Monday so it's gonna be tricky, I'll have to execute a perfect disco nap beforehand. Guess the best plan is to get barely any sleep Saturday night and pass out real early Sunday evening, and hope it rides me out til 3am, at which point I can wake up and drink a litre of coffee and head to Stereo. Alternatively, sleeping pills Sunday evening might do the trick.

People always ask this question, you guys should know how it goes down at Stereo by now. :)

Opening DJ starts at 2 AM
Guest DJ starts around 4:30, 5-ish.

It's always like that at Stereo, unless it's like Danny Howells who opens and closes the night and s you up for 12 hours straight.

Might be there, although digweed isnt that great.
Alex
His radio shows blow mad chunks, and have for a year.

But live, he's still great.

You're right. I thought it was in 2003/04.

I had a blast. I was the first person there and because I drove up from Seattle and had nothing better to do, I waited at the door for five minutes before it opened. One of the bouncers actually came up to me and said, "Hey, you were here in December for Sasha, huh?" :wtf: It was also nice to meet a couple of TAs. I know I met xtr3m, who asked if I was on TA; how the hell could you tell? And I think I met someone else, but I'm not sure. He and I were up at the very front on the far right the entire night.

All in all, I thought it was an incredible set. I figured it would've been a set like the one at Plush where he played more on the soft side, because Celebrities is so small. I was wrong, he banged the out of the club and they loved it. Hell, the last portion of it before the encore was incredibly reminiscent of the Delta Heavy days of banging Progressive House, and he even threw in a couple of classics from pre '02. His mixing and the way he built his set were both spot on. A much better night than at Plush last year, in my opinion.

It's not a female. The full piece of the vocals is from a track called I Get Deep by Roland Clark. It goes on to say "They know what is what but they don't know what is what they just strut, what the ?" which Fatboy Slim sampled in Star 69, but the tune that Digweed played obviously didn't have that sample. And the remix of Crocodile was by Oliver Huntemann, and is (in my opinion).

Looking back through the videos I took, most of the crowd on the main floor had their hands in the air and were loving it. And Digweed has never been one to interact with the crowd. He rarely ever does anything, and I don't think it should be a requirement for a DJ to put on a show. But that's just me.
