Okay, so we know Paul Van Dyk released a very commercial record called "White Lies", and that Ferry is currently charting pretty high on the Pop charts in Holland with "The Race" (which resembles "Zombie Nation"). Let's hope their current musical evolution doesn't lead them to this:

Paul Van Dyk would never have played Anthem five years ago, and especially not as a closing track.

Yeah, 'cause five years ago Anthem didn't exist! Duh. :o

according to an interview in bulgaria in late 2006, PvD doesn't like the "cheesy nonsenz". :P

I love Paul as a DJ and producer, but he can be a hypocrite at times. He used to talk negatively about ATB andhow he doesnt play that kind of music, whereas nowadays he will not only play, but also produce that kind of music.
Truthfully, much of ATB's music has been on par or even better then some of Paul's releases.

exactly. if someone had told me 5-6 years ago that PvD in the near future would produce poppish crap I would have laughed. Today I don't laugh. I just sadly watch how an icon within trance music destroyed his own image.

you deffinately don't know what you're talking about, I saw pvd last month and although it wasn't a bad set (excluding the stupid anthem and the cheese stack for the guidos) it deffinately doesn't even come close to the damage he did 4-7 years ago.
