What does that have to do with anything?

Well, when you got guys on TA saying they didn't like a DT party because it was packed with shirtless gay guys, and complaining about him getting on the mic, and then saying they left after an hour, they obviously don't know the whole 90's diva-house scene in New York and what DJs in that era act like. Does that mean all gay people act like divas?.... NO!! Does that mean that these DJs are from a scene and a time where it was in style to act like a diva, or show attitude?.... Yes. Anyone who knows anything about Danny knows that, from the beginning, he has been anti-recording of his sets. He rose up in a different time than is now, where downloading sets didn't make someone an EDM-lover. He rose up in a time where, if you wanted to hear him, you'd show up at his beloved Vinyl club at 5 in the morning and dance the morning away.

Did you even try to answer my question or do you just like to make long pointless rants?

Definitely the latter. The poor fellow has struggled with a point since the onset, with no end in sight.
DJ Eco
And I really don't want to sound all-knowing and self-righteous but I have no doubt in my mind that someone brought up in a New York house scene has a very different take on the scene (whether it's the style of dance, or musical preferences) than someone brought up in the Miami-style house scene, or French house scene, or whatever. Just like I don't know what it felt like to go to Tresor in Berlin, someone from Berlin doesn't understand what it's like to end up at a gay-heavy afterhours in New York at 8 in the morning. It's a matter of perspective, it's a totally different scene, even though it's all rooted in EDM.
Mr.Mystery
Yep, that settles that then.

s are s regardless of what "scene" they're involved in.

You can dress them up however you'd like, but they'll still always reek of .

What does any of this have do with his reaction to his sets being recorded?

Listen to yourself.... Anyone who says "techno music sucks!!!" is using objective evaluations and you (or whoever), defending it, are the subjective one. This is as dumb as an argument between an Aussie and a guy from Texas as to which is better, so I'm pretty much done with the inquisition.

So you can't answer one simple question then?

Yes, and also no (to your first sentence). Someone sees some of DT's actions and understands it as part of his "act" for the past two decades. Someone else sees it as a dick move. Is that a good enough explanation for you, Mr.Mystery and G-Con?

Yes... <---- There... I answered one.
