It's actually a good question. Usually the glass breaks when it is suddenly exposed to a large temperature difference. In this case, the water is a little under 0 C. It merely crystallizes due to the addition of ice particles. Will the glass break ? Hmm, crystallization is an exothermic process, so heat is generated. How much heat will it generate ? Not enough to break the glass. But super cool the water down to - 40 C and then crystallize it. Maybe the glass will break in that case.
