I didn't agree until yesterday. That was horrible.

My vote for a trade:
Benson & Briggs
McNabb & draft pick
UWM
Packers 3-0
My fantasy team 3-0
Bears 1-2

It's a good day.

I love the ANTI-GROSSMAN fans

:)

2- Years out of play due to injuries comes back 1st full season takes team to superbowl.

it's only his 2nd NFL SEASON guys (that hes playing) I imagine when he was injured he wasn't exactly playing football. Then you have Qbs like Matt Lienart but again he came straight from college and hasnt been injured. I'd like to see him get injured for 2 yrs then come back to NFL and play at the top of his game.

By no means is Wrecks Grossman a great player but I think he has potential to become one... again if he doesnt get it together hes out of here since hes on contract. So im sure he's figuring stuff out, aslo I know he knows if he does get released or traded he sure as heck wont be a starter.

oh yeah.. that superbowl thing... :D

Actually what I posted above this was supposed to be more sarcastic than not. Probably most people didn't get that. I always love when ppl hate on successful people. While it's true Grossman isn't known for his finesse or style, it's also true that yes, he did take his team - our team I might add - to the Superbowl! No small feat! Obviously a team effort but you gotta give the man some credit where it is due. The winning formula is not always about a "perfect" team - you can create all-star NFL teams of the best players to ever grace the field to your heart's content but just because you have all of these great players organized on a team doesn't automatically mean they would be successful. /rambling

I've defended Grossman over & over, and have always thought he had potential, but the more I see, the more I've really got to question, especially given his past [substance-wise @ UF]

Agree with ya 110%

He needs to stop forcing plays...and moose needs to learn to run his routes right.

moose needs to wake the up. he looks like he's asleep.

i think its the offense as a whole dropping passes, fumbling the balls, failing at running their routes at times, and not being able to protect the QB longer thats really hurting them.

add to that, whats with the injuries? regardless of who's throwing the ball for the bears, sloppy plays and (sadly) injuries are what would really keep the bears from success this year.

Report: Bears Bench Rex

UPDATED: 6:14 pm CDT September 25, 2007

CHICAGO -- Rex Grossman will not be starting for the Bears in Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions, according to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times.

After repeated disappointing performances and outrage from fans, the team announced that Brian Griese will be the starting quarterback for the Sept. 30 game at Detroit.
