Tiesto and Armin....that way they won't be in toronto
:D

lol

I'm in a "lol" kinda mood. Chem, this is as quotable as your "edm for dummies" one.

I wonder how all these TOTAs came on board here, hmmm :toothless. Amidst all the flaming, this once happy go lucky thread has taken a worthy educational bent to it as well, believe it or not...

Here is a nifty little flash site that depicts the history of EDM genres all the way back to the 70s.

Use it wisely :P

And also R O F L at you KrinKer for saying that Trance hasn't evolved since the early 90s German Happy Hardcore... proof that you don't know a lot about how this genre has evolved.

I understand you're just here to troll around and bash the genre, but at least get your facts straight. You know what they say: Those who can't argue become forum trolls :)
Mr Moss
gotta buy some jello first, and some nails for that matter

is there anyone on this board that hasnt seen ishkur's guide yet?

should edit the board script to show that to all ppl who register, swap the email registration confirmation link for ishkur's guide :disbelief

why is the devil smiley face called 'disbelief', should be 'evilsmiley' or somethin
Spunkerspawn
Might as well make a sticky thread saying "DO NOT POST UNTIL YOU HAVE MEMORIZED ISHKUR'S GUIDE TO EDM" :P
Enjoy
Mr Moss

Take it with a big block of salt and assume that nothing Ishkur says is definite, and it's just his opinion.

Mr Moss
for sure.. i dont really care about his commentary for diff genres, but its a good 1-stop link to get basic examples of how a genre sounds, even if you wanna audition something remote like cpop or italo dance, wonder how long it took to make anyway

It's just a matter of time... did you see the crowd at Holden? That's exactly what I mean... he's crossing over into non edm geek worlds into worlds where people just know some names of artists and have completely different interests....

also

maybe its because the zabiela/fanciulli/svd arent that good... or dont make the crossover into the mainstream like others have and will.

Maybe, as it is now, I just can't see any DJ really filling the shoes of the HUGE OMG SUPER STAR names, I dont seez it foo.
