you are right then... you win... give him das boot..

your letters have a whole lot more power then... also give him the consequences of him not following your rules...

he doesnt know what or how bad you really feel...

"If I find 3 more organic things in the garbage then you will have 1 month to vacate the property."

it'll be easy and in writing and if he is your roomie with nothing signed with you then you can kick him out today if you even wanted to

Actually, yes he does. I told him myself, several times before I had to resort to writing this letter.

Were your actions really passive agressive? Sounds like you were fairly straight forward to me (despite choosing a medium other then verbal communication). A passive agressive response would have been allowing the garbage and crap to build up until such time as he became disgusted by it or developed some nasty infection subsequent to larva infestation and was moved to clean his up and never let it get that bad again.

True true. I guess I just figure any action that isn't as direct as I normally am is passive aggressive. :p

no my new roommate is a guy and he's all about cleaning everything right then and there. Used to live with 5 guys in college and those guys were pretty clean too...clean people can be male or female.

my old roommate was not just dirty but nasty and she was a girl...she lived to have all her food go bad. It was disgusting and she thought because she wasn't messy she was clean which is total crap.

There's a big difference between being messy and being unclean. I can tolerate a mess, but not being unclean.

When your room has laundry thrown about, and empty water bottles and pop cans and stuff in it, that's a mess. When you don't wash your ing bed sheets for 2 months, that's unlcean.
