hi everyone. im trying to clean up my sound bank cuz for a while i was downloading to many demo refills. so what i want to do is start getting rid of the ones that i haven't used or don't see myself using much in the future.
now heres the problem . i have used some sounds for some older tracks that i still want to work on so i want to save the song in a folder with the sounds so i can erase the refill where they came from but still be able to load the track back up with out it missing sounds/samples.
can anybody help me with this? , it would be much appretiated.
thanks |

| here that might not make much sense on exactly what i want to do. basicly i want to be able to put my song(s) plus the sounds/refills it uses on a disc so i cant play it to a firends computer who only has the sounds sounds that reason comes with |

ok i opened the song and hit self contain. im guessing i click "check all"?. now does that mean i can erase the refills from my library, and the song will keep them.? |

yeah, you can also check if the size of the .rns file increassed after that. just to be sure. or try to move your refills in a different directory and than open the project to see if it works. |

It only saves samples, you still need the refills. |

ahh...yeah.
you could render the refills as wav samples and use self contain settings after that. |

| google the refill unpacker...put it in the same folder your factory bank is in and then you can extract whatever you like ;) |

I think it can't be illegal..it's just about as illegal as getting a no-cd patch for a game you legitimaly bought...
I can be wrong though... |

prob th best idea to use the unpacker and save the sounds you want.
Palm - save the exe file in the same directory as the sound banks i.e factory soudbank. Run the exe file then the program loads and you can browse to the refills and open them up, then do what you like with the. Great tool. |
