No. Although there is a relation between lifespan and heigh, this is only valid for a certain body height. For men it's range is somewhat between 1,80m - 1,95m for the longest lifespan... dunno the numbers exactly. |

Hmm, among animals the smaller, lighter individuals within a species live longer on average, excepting cases of illness. I'd need to see some good evidence showing why humans would be an exception to this rule. |

okay, so what would be the good reasons?
im very sure there are a million and one factors to explain the REASONS i have quoted above. im sure they have tons of research journals explaining why "Working women are eight times likely to spend 4 or more years out of the labor force than are men"
and im sure there have been million dollar studies conducted on the reasons on why a "working woman is nearly nine times more likely than a man to leave the workplace for six months or longer for family reasons"
but by explaining WHY women leave the workplace or the labor force doesnt change the fact that they do! that the whole point...at the end of the day, from an employers/economical viewpoint, a person, whether man or woman, who spends 4 years or more outside the labor force is less valuable to the employer than a man or a woman who doesnt spend that time out of the labor force.
a person who leaves the workplace for 6 months or longer, whether man or woman, is less valuable to the employer. im not talking about WHY they spend time outside the labor force or worplace. im sure they have their issues and problems to deal with and so they must quit working for a while. im stating the fact that BECAUSE they spend time outside the labor force or quit the workplace for a while they are LESS valuable and will end up earning LESS, whether they be man or woman.
in other words, correct me if im wrong, are you trying to say that a person who leaves the workplace (for watever reason) should still be paid even if he/she is not working (with exception of pregnancy leave)????
i think you missed the point of the discussion. Why men earn more than women. |

the maternity leave in the country is an absolute ing joke. almost every other developed nation treats their mothers far better

i dont know which country your in, but in my country is the same situation. i totally agree. women should be paid for pregnancy leaves. |
