Anyone ever been to Ecuador?

A good friend of mine is opening a lounge down in Ecuador this fall/winter, and is really trying to convince Myra and I to come down there around the New Year. All the chatter in Will's thread about Eco Tourism has really got me excited to try and check out some of South and/or Central America, and this would be a great opportunity.
So have any of you been? What was it like? Tips, thoughts, problemas?

A kid I grew up with is getting married to a girl from Brazil who came to the states as an exchange student.

i've never been there, but i would if i had the chance and the money. i think you'd have more fun if you went solo and stayed there for a couple of weeks.;) |
