Closet muslim? :haha:

Ketchup bacon is ok, but I don't like to add anything to bacon. Natural fat flavour ftw.

Me too...I use ketchup only on food that needs a flavour boost...(mostly fast food/cheap food)

I think that fresh and properly cooked bacon is ruined by ketchup/mayo/syrup or whatever sauce one favours.

The Baconator

So. I go to Wendy's and order the baconator for the very fist time. I pay and realize $8.45???? wtf... this better be a damn good burger.

I take my first bite-- scumptious.

Every bite is filled with bacony goodness. The only downfall is that the bacon is a little undercooked (per fast food standards I would assume)... You must be careful while biting in, or you'll get that- "whole string of bacon bite" and be left with only a cheeseburger with a bunch of mayo and ketchup on it.

With that said, all in all this was a good Wendy's burger experience.

Excellent combination of flavours and textures.

A+ I'd get it again.

what's even better is when you mix hot sauce with ketchup... franks and heinz for example. best of both worlds! even better that the heinz hot & spicy ketchup.

Your burger experience is suspect if you give a Wendy's burger (with small, flimsy bacon strips) an A+.

Catsup should be used as dipping sauce or base for other sauces - that's it.

I do not enjoy it placed directly on to foods (as people do with burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches) as I find the sweet and tart flavors overpower the subtle elements that make the food tasty.
