I'm also not a fan of bacon. I love most other pork, but bacon just doesn't do it for me. Too often it's either undercooked or overcooked, and it just doesn't have the texture good meat should have.

If you don't like bacon, you've probably never had good bacon properly cooked.

Because of the high fat content there is a science behind cooking bacon. High quality bacon cooked using the scientific method produces phenomenal flavor, wonderful texture/consistency.

Your burger experience is suspect if you give a Wendy's burger (with small, flimsy bacon strips) an A+.

As for a fast food burger - it definitely deserves i'd say a B+

Lick's, would get an A+

Very rightly so, but since most bacon you come across in is in fast food restaurants, you never really get to taste properly cooked bacon. As such, I don't like bacon, and avoid ordering any items with bacon in them.

As far as franchise restaurants go Licks and Hero would be the only two worth mentioning for "good" burgers.

And even so there are many other places to get even better "quick" ("fast") burgers...

Dangerous Dans (Queen East)
Burger Shack (Oriole Parkway)
Golden Star Restaurant (Yonge)
Allen's (Danforth)

I will agree with you.

Your knowledge of meat is quite superior.
