We have been working on making this the perfect situation for months and I think we have done it! I know you are all going to have a lot of questions and they will all be answered in time, but let me start you off with some general info. And be ready for a press release and LINEUPS next week!

Starting September 21st we will be hosting EVERY FRIDAY at Fur Nightclub!
18+ for everyone!
Normal hours will be 9pm-4am
Special events will run from 9pm-the sunrises
EDM is EVERY ROOM!
Performance artists and décor every Friday! We have contacted RKM Future Boys, Drawing on People and Screaming Queens to work with us on making these nights unforgettable and we are also putting together a Circus Night (anyone remember the one at Nation in 99?) complete with circus performers and if all goes well, Scott Henry in a dunking booth!
Drink Specials from 9-11pm, including $5 red bull vodkas and $3 shooter-of-the-week! You can submit your shooter recipe and if it is picked you will get a bar tab for the night paid for by Buzzlife and Fur.
Almost No Dress Code! No white tennis shoes (gym shoes), no shorts for guys, no overly baggy thug wear for guys. That’s it! (white accented shoes are fine, including white shell toed shoes) Basically we are asking you to not wear your gym clothing and you will have no problem getting in. (it would be nice if you also looked like you have recently showered, teehee) Also, we are encouraging people to go all out with their outfits, people dressed like club kids, freak shows, etc will be able to contact us to get in free!
$2 million dollars in renovations are being planned for 2008, but we need your support and inspiration. With your suggestions we can make this club a home. The club is looking to us to tell them what will make the party all that it can be.
Sound system and lights are being updated/tweaked.
There will be a reduced list till 11pm. And as always, Buzzlife will give you a chance to get in for a super cheap price and will always keep our prices fair.
We are reworking the entrance so that everyone gets in faster and creating a separate entrance for will call. So those that buy tickets in advance have a their own side door and really will get in with almost no wait.
We will be creating the first (that I know of, at least in DC) club consigners desk. This will be a place to look for lost friends, cell phones, jackets, credit cards, etc. And most importantly, a place to make formal complaints, suggestions and of course compliments. You having the best time possible is our #1 priority.

There will be 4 rooms of music plus an outdoor smoking area. The square footage is larger than nation, but it does not have as large of a mezzanine and there are more bars and seating areas. So the open areas are not as super big. but like i said, we plan on doing renovations to make it even more buzz friendly, with your help and input. The rooms with music are the main room, the mink room (there is mink furish wallpaper on the walls,) martini (thats the first room you walk into and there are pics of martinis,) and mafia (pics of fictional and nonfictional mafia members.) The other areas on the tour are parts of those main rooms or areas that share the same sound. The outside is not shown, but will be once it is redone and made a little nicer. the outside will be tented and heated in the winter and music can be pumped out there. |
