Last night, I just purchased some equipment. I was wondering if I needed to get anything else. I feel like I'm missing something. Oh and any input on the equipment would be great too. Thanks.
I purchased:
Sennheiser HD 25's
2 Pioneer CDJ 200's
1 DJM 400
2 Alesis M1 Active 620's
Ipod - 160 GB |

| No you look good to go. Just need Music. |

| You'll need leads from the mixer to the speakers. XLR will be fine. |

| Looks like a solid setup that will provide years of mixing joy. :D Color me a bit jealous. I'm soooo ready for a CDJ, however life keeps getting in the way - i.e., new roof for the house, tires for the car, food for the kids, etc. Soon, though... ;) |

| How did you plan to use the iPoo with that setup? |

Probably the same way I use mine: I put all my tunes and sets on it, and play them through the best sound processing and speaker system I have (my mixer and speakers).

Too bad the 400 doesn't have XLRs, only RCAs. |

| Simple solution: Get RCA/Phonos then. |

| Yeah man, make sure you get some RCAs (red and white connections) for the 400, not XLR. |

Nope, that setup's not going to work, you need at least a 320 gb ipod. ;)
Looks good dude. Just make sure you have the cables |

You will need a converter. Those monitors only take XLR or 1/4" (balanced or unbalanced) |
