Places that advertise "Lousy Service"

What do you all think of this?
:conf:
For example, there's a place in Chicago that has essentially become a novelty for it's bad service, Ed Debevecks (sp), but it's done in more of a playful manner and lends to the charm of the place (though I haven't been there since I was a kid, so I'm uncertain of how it is now).
Conversely, there's a coffeeshop in Milwaukee that advertises "Great Coffee, Lousy Service" and after today, I will never return there again. The place was a dump, the people were genuinely rude (When I asked for the "Blue" Odwalla smoothie, the response I got "What's the ing name on the bottle?"), and though they advertised "free wireless," it was password protected and no one there seemed to remember what the password was, though there were several others sitting on their laptops surfing away.
Needless to say, I was a bit pissed. |

| I'm under the impression that Waffle House is understood to have ty service, but I'm not sure it's a selling point. :) |

The other thing was that every single table had filthy dishes at it, regardless of whether or not someone had been there.
I've honestly never seen a business with people so utterly apathetic and lazy - it reminded me a lot of the Nihilists from the Big Lebowski. |

| a local greek restaurant got 0/10 in a recent yearly examination from the food board. The owner claimed it was because he refused to fill in an additional questionnaire, but apparently the hummus was out of date by a month and other food was stored on the floor. Either way, I'm not going there! |

| yeah, but even as novelties go, why would you pay for someone to be an to you while they serve you bad food? I don't get it. |

Because this is the midwest - we're so nice we have to pay people to be rude to us just to experience it :p |
