ARE YOU ING SERIOUS?
underworld was crazy!!!
they kicked so much ass!! and you're gonna just ing stand there and disrespect them by nodding your head like "yeah this is ok"
yeah i elbowed about a dozen people in the face.. especially when they were playing breaks... me and my friends even made a break circle!
honestly
a bunch of ing yuppies with their girlfriends....
the problem with that is people who have the money and resources to see these shows also don't understand them.

since when is it no longer cool to ing dance?

where do u come off? first of all she said she had a good time. second of all, there is something called respect. respect for others, respect for yourself. do to other as others do unto you. therefore, i dont go crazy in a club if i know that im gonna hurt other people by stomping or elbowing them. its a simple safety rule as well, and people like you who dont care about other people´s personal space are the ones that everyone complains about.

next time stay home... or go to williamsburg and see some band called "semi-precious shiny weapons" or "yeah yeah yeahs" or whatever the ..

dude...calm down. Kel said she had a ing great time. I don't know who you are but she and everybody else are entitled to their own opinions. If you're one of those doucebags that is elbowing everyone in the crowd, whether it was at Underworld or anywhere else, well I gotta say is please consider how those ppl you are elbowing in the face feel. How would you like it if you got elbowed in the face a dozen or more times in a single event?? Of course you have the right to dance, but please be considerate of other people's spaces. That is all I have to say. I'm not trying to make this an argument with you. Just understand how the other ppl would feel.

it was never cool to elbow people in the face at events like these.

I had a really great time last night, and it was a great change of scenery...from the live act, to the totally different crowd, to the change of sounds that I am used to.... I was thoroughly entertained. I was especially happy when they pumped it up a bit, and played a couple classics that I love (born slippy of course, and I think the name of the other toon I loved (blast from the past)...was "two months away" or something like that.) Dont know a whole lot about the act itself, but the main singer was a mad man and kept me entertained even in the slow moments. Mere said:"That guy is just special." :) :) lol

Negative: the crowd: holy fak I havent been this pissed at a crowd in quite come time. Holy-crackie-rude-f*ckers. I was getting PLOWED over and elbowed in the face because people were dancing like MAD men in the tighest space EVER. Hello, you cant DO that people!!! I am bruised ffrom head-to-toe this morning.

hahah and I swear I saw 40-50 steven neils there, NO LIE. I even saw one in rain boots. :disbelief :haha: :wtf:

The other negative was the price for the time we got. They played, what... 2-2.5 hours and I payed about $60 with fees, which imo was really dissapointing seeing as I really dont dig holden's slower style (obviously). I know Made needs a higher price tag for prodections like this, but I wont be paying that much again for a 2 hour show ever again.

didn't have your usual body guards with you this time around huh :( :p

well, glad to hear most of you enjoyed it. i'll be looking forward to catching underworld in a couple of months :)

+1 (even when I'm that guy sometimes... :( ). We were off to the left side, between the beer stand and the firelane gates that they always have up and even over that far, people weren't really that respectful of personal space. It's kind of annoying when you've got to spend more time making sure you don't get hit in the face than dancing yourself.

I thought that the show was OK, but not amazing. Compared with Daft Punk a month ago, it was lacking, especially in the special effects department. Some guy with a laser pointer in the crowd swirled it in the trees, providing the only lasers that I saw.

Also, considering that they have a pre-planned setlist, I thought that the sequencing wasn't very good. If you watch the Everything, Everything DVD, a lot of the changes between tracks are fairly smooth and flow well, whereas some of the ones on Friday were abrupt. I realize it's a live show and not a DJ set, though.

As with every event at Central Park, there was the same typical BS with the bathroom lines.

In the end, it was good to catch them live and I wasn't disappointed, but it definitely didn't rank up there as one of the tops shows that I've been to in my life

ok maybe i came off as arrogant.

but there are a few observations i made...

the loudest ive seen people all show is when the SFX guys blew up a bunch of penis-looking balloons.... WOOOO BALLOOOONS!!! and if someone got to touch them??? that was that person's height of extacy.

i didn't ing hurt anyone.
i was just disappointed in the general apathy of the crowd. can't do about that.

please make no further posts quoting me and trying to hurt my feelings.
