iPod Touch: Does anyone own one yet? (pg. 10)

Well I was able to get Mail and Maps up and running great this morning, and now I think I've got just about everything I want on here for the time being.
Again, I'm really, really stoked on my purchase - I don't presume to tell any of you how to spend your money, but if this product sounds remotely interesting to you I'd recommend it completely.

Did you happen to find out if you can rip DVD's onto the Touch? |

| i'm also happy i bought it! i've already got videos on there and a good amount of music. the 16 gigs hasn't really bothered me since I dont' have my complete library on this computer. I need to buy some headphones though. I was looking around on amazon and found some good ones but i'm not sold. Any audiophile here can help?? anything under $200 sounds good. |

Yes & no - I know there is a program out there specifically designed to rip DVD's and encode it in a format that can be watched on the Touch, and it seems to have worked for most folks.
I haven't tried it myself just yet though. |

16 gigs - so not a ton, but I rarely need my entire music collection on an MP3 player, and I like the fact that it's solid state. |

Probably better off with an N95 if there's 3G services in Poland Stren, similar pricing, more features you'll probably never use :) |
