Welcome to the United States.

black eyed peas is one of the few respectable hip hop groups imo...so i really don't mind it. i find it a little annoying that people wouldn't be able to appreciate the original until it's been sampled...and that they will be completely ignorant to the fact that it is a sample..but what are you gonna do.

i'm sure it will be a very popular song...that sample from body language has always been super catchy...

Good song...but I anticipate the douchebags going like "na-ha, will.i.am was the first to use that sample"...

oh well

like someone said earlier, it would have been more tasteful if that sample was more than 2 years old.

Every one of those tracks sounds like .

The amount of blatant sampling in Hip Hop now is getting pathetic (I know thats it been around from the start). Its not just the sampling, its the whole narcissism of their bragging about how great there are.

BTW, Is it me or does he look coked out of his mind.

I could accept Kanye's sampling of Daft Punk because Daft Punk sampled it themselves. But Booka Shade? Cmon now, they're like one of my favorite artists out there. I thought Get Physical Music was sufficiently underground enough to never come into contact with anyone who is thick enough to listen to the black eyed peas.

does this mean that I can still play out my other Booka Shade tracks that have that similar bassline? DJ T - Jam Pot? Mandarine Girl? Panoramic? Because Body Language has now died. Not that I would play it out now or anything. But it (was) still a classic in my book.

i liked it..just for listening purpose though..not playing somewhere though

I can't help but laugh at people who think that Get Physical is "underground." It's far from it in the grand scheme of things. And just because a certain type of music doesn't get played on the radio here in the States doesn't mean a pop artist wont ever hear it. They're artists because music is their passion, and they'll know more about it and where to look for what they like than the average person (see: radio listener).

Plus it's not like the sample was any good in the first place, in my opinion.
