Hey TOTAs,

I'll be heading up to Toronto Oct 4-8 to check out the Guv's anniversary party on Sunday and probably Prydz on Saturday. Since I'll be in town from Thursday night until Monday afternoon and it's my first time in Canada, I was hoping some of you could tell me (San Francisco TA) some of the cool spots to check out in and around Toronto.

Would love suggestions on good restaurants, city highlights, EDM oriented bars/lounges/clubs and anything else you would tell a tourist to do! :D

Looking forward to the craziness of the Guvernment and partying with you TOTAs! :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:

Thanks for any info!

Matt

LOL :stongue:, funny story, my friends in Toronto told me Ferry was spinning an 8 hour set for Thanksgiving. So I looked at my calendar for November 22 which is our TG, and I already had plans that week and couldnt make it to Toronto. Come to find out this past weekend that you have a different TG from us and your TG date I am able to make it!

I never knew we had different holidays, haha, your TG is our Columbus Day. :o

if you want to travel around toronto, get a day pass for the transit system, TTC. this gives you unlimited travel on the subway, streetcar and buses all day for 1 day.

check out the toronto islands. its close to downtown and you'll have a great view of the skyline.

there's also some nice little neightbourhoods that you can visit, Queen West, Yorkville, Yonge Strip, Little Italy, Kensington and so on.

there's also the City Pass.
it provides great value while showing you all the tourist attractions. for $56.30 USD you get...
-CN tower
-Casa Loma
-Ontario Science centRE
-Royal Ontario Museum
-Toronto Zoo
-Hockey Hall of Fame.

It's valid for 9 days, starting on the day you first go to an attraction.

those are just some of the things you can do.
