I ended my Ultra days when it ended in Bayfront
no other park can compare...dirt cloud city + no ampitheater = FAIL.

| ultra wasnt bad this year. carl cox tent was banging as always. and the house stage wasnt so bad. wish i could have caught more of sasha and diggers. |

i don't know what to say, i usually enjoy ultra, but this past one i thought was the biggest waste of money. i don't know if it's due to the fact that friday i was hung over just about the whole day, and saturday with the lack of sleep on top of all the rain and the entire ultra crowd being crammed in the cox tent was what ruined it for me. or if it was the fact that this was that was the first wmc that i was finally 21 and enjoyed the clubs that much more.
maybe both combined. |

Hey you were lucky. The rain made that dirt field into a muddy pit.
I'm not buying those tickets until I see a good line up. |

I miss seeing PVD close at Ultra at the Bayfront stage :( Now at Bicentennial he looks like a little spec :P
I am lucky enough to know one of the owners of the whole Ultra gig, so I get hooked up, but honestly, the rain totally killed it last year!! And if I have to see one more girl in pigtails wearing 80 million candy bracelets sucking on a lollipop and have a vicks inhaler in her nose... :whip: |

I HATE ULTRA!!!!!!!!!
A.K.A The biggest drug bust on the planet.
Ultra takes down more key players in 2 days than they do all year trust me.It's fest.
I dont really care about the police cleaning up the scene that's fine by me we need more of that type of control but i dont like seeing kids who arent informed about whats going on getting rapped by the police that to me is the real tragedy at ULTRA "Vice".
Also i dont like seeing 800 people overdose and die when i go to parties.Really not my thing.
Rave it up though and when you get asked to walk over to the trailer where they lineup and finger print you after they set you up passing by then dont say i didnt tell ya whats up.
As well as the fact that there are 500 other parties that are going on in those 2 days that destroy Ultra in it's best years.
This is my "informed" opinion on the subject,take it or leave it. |
